I had gotten out of a 5.5 year relationship/marriage and was living alone for the first time in my life. I was casually meeting people from Tinder, but I was tired of flaky people.
I decided, “who’s gonna love me more than me?” I started taking myself on dates. I’d spend Saturday afternoons getting all dolled up and going out to dinner or bars or parties by myself. I was having an awesome time.
One of my “dates” with myself was to one of those wine and paint studios (where they teach you step-by-step to do a painting, and you can have drinks). The instructor looked familiar to me, so during a break in the class I asked him where I knew him from. Turns out he often went to the bar that my friends own. He was also friends with another mutual friend. 
A week or so after the class, I noticed that someone liked a few posts on my Instagram. I checked it out, and it was my painting instructor! So I sent him a DM, we started chatting. He asked me to dinner, and that was that! 
We’ve been together for almost a year and a half, and he is my everything. 💕

My boyfriend creeped me out when I first met him.
I got a job at this fast food place here in town that my moms cousin worked at and his best friend was a family friend & the manager, so it was an easy in.
On my first day, the manager was showing me the ropes and he had to go to the restroom so he left me up in the front alone for a bit. He had briefly told me everyone’s name that was there that night. 
Well, this tall guy walks up to me and says “Hey, do you have any friends?”. I was a little confused why he was asking so I just kinda mumbled, “Yeah, a few I guess. Not a lot though.” 
His response; “Well, we’ll all be your new best friends” and then he walks away and doesn’t talk to me again for the rest of the night.
It sounds pretty innocent but I was only 16 and had no idea who he was so it really creeped me out. 
Well after a few weeks i found out he has a girlfriend. I thought he was cute, even though he was weird. But since he was in a relationship, obviously I didn’t flirt. We talked sometimes when we were working the same shift but it was just normal conversations and never crossed the line. 
After a couple more weeks they ended up breaking up because he found out she was cheating. He was pretty upset for awhile afterwards, which was understanding. I tried to cheer him up during our shifts and usually got a few laughs from him. We started talking a lot more during our shifts and eventually he added me on Facebook and we started messaging there. We talked almost all day every day for months, and then one night I came to work and he had a hickey. I liked him at this point but he’s his own person, we weren’t in a relationship so 🤷🏻‍♀️. But when someone else pointed it out he told them to “Shut the fuck up” and then looked at me with this weird look on his face. So, I had a brief moment of thought that maybe he kinda liked me too. But, I was too shy to ask so I let it go.
We talked and flirted almost every day for about a year before I finally admitted I liked him and he told me he liked me too. We started dating a couple weeks after that and we’ve been together ever since. We moved in together after I graduated high school and we just had our first kid together 💕. I love these two boys more than anything 😍💕

Anyways; One day in August I was working as a hostess in this seafood restaurant, and this guy ( my now boyfriend) and his family came in to eat on a very busy Saturday afternoon. I live in a tourist town, and this restaurant is located in like an outdoor mall area, and he told me that, on that day they went they were almost gonna go to the restaurant next door, anyways, I get his family seated, and I thought he was actually really cute, but he was with his sister at the time, which i thought was his girlfriend, so I kinda went about my day. His dad and his grandma pestered him to get him to ask me for my phone number. as they got up, he started to approach me, but my mf luck, some lady on the waitlist started to pester me about the wait, so he didn’t want to bother me and he walked out. GREAT. Anyways fast forward like two weeks, my dumb butt downloads tinder with a friend because we are bored, AND GUESS WHO IS THE FIRST MAN I SEE. So I swiped and waited, and we matched. He lived in the city, north of my tourist town about thirty minutes, and we instantly hit it off, and the next day we were on our first date, and he rest is history ✨💕
