Mongolian spot?

Are these Mongolian spots? On the left cheek?

My daughter has Mongolian spots. I’ve never known it to be so small like that. This looks more like a bruise. 
Was it there since birth? The nurses pointed it out when my baby was born and had it documented so there could be no accusations of abuse.

That looks different than my girls spots. I can’t tell exactly from this picture but he looks pretty fair, Mongolian spots are only (from what I’ve heard) on babies with darker complexions.

If it's been there for a few weeks it's likely a small Mongolian spot. My son was born premature and had a big one on his bum and then when he was around 5 weeks old more started appearing on his back and I thought they were bruises and I freaked out thinking I accidentally hurt him somehow but his pediatrician assured me it was just more Mongolian spots. If he wasn't born with it I would let his pediatrician take a look at it to document it.
