So my sister was so excited to find out that I was having a baby for the second time. With my first, I was 16/17 so we couldn’t really be excited for a baby. Anyway, my son is 6 now and all I’ve got from when he was a baby is his crib. I went out and bought literally all the big items that I’ll need for our next boy (stroller, high chair, car seat, swing, bouncer...) so all I need is clothes and blankets and such. I didn’t want a baby shower and I wasn’t planning on having one, but she’s being EXTRA persistent in wanting to throw me one. She’s actually being EXTRA with everything, literally. She wants to name him, she wants to decorate his nursery, she wants this and that... like hello have your own kid! What do you all think? Should I just let her throw me the shower? I don’t want to make her feel bad, but I really don’t want the shower either. I’ve already told her not to but she’s already buying things. What would you do??
