I’m curious how the process after giving birth at home goes because I am interested in doing it. How do you file for the Social Security number for the child? If there are no complications of any sort do you still have to go to the hospital? If so do you get to go home shortly afterwards instead of staying at least 24 hours? I hate that my babies (10 months and a 2 year old) can’t stay with me at the hospital. My 10 month old will still be breastfeeding by the time the new one comes. Both sleep with me at night as well. My oldest 6 isn’t hard because she’ll happily spend the night at someone else’s house. I can’t bear being without them and I don’t want them upset because their mommy isn’t there for them.
