Is that the baby kicking?!?

Tomorrow I will be 20 weeks. I’ve been feeling these “thumps” in my lower abdomen. Sometimes I wonder if it’s the baby but then I pass gas like 15-30 mins later. Other times, I feel those thumps and pass nothing. I’ve been feeling them ALOT these last 3 or 4 days. I’m a ftm so I don’t want to get too excited if it’s just gas 😂 but I have a feeling it’s the baby. When did y’all feel your first flutter or kick and how did you differentiate between the two?

It’s more than likely kicks! With my second pregnancy baby kicks less and rolls around more and it’s such a different feeling 😂 but it’s definite when it happens!

Flutters/ kicks! Mine started around 17 weeks and at that time I wasn’t sure if it was gas. But now they are getting stronger and more frequent. We still can’t feel then on the outside but they are stronger on the inside. It depends on where the placenta is located - mine is in the front between baby and tummy so it will take longer for me to feel it. .. plus I’m overweight so that impacts it as well

I feel little thumps and pushes as well, I’m 22 weeks. Started feeling them in my 20th week. At first I though i thought it was gas but I feel them most often in the morning when I’m lying in bed or other times I’m super still. They are never in the same spot, and just feel like a little poke to say “hi, I’m here”

I’m 21 weeks and I can feel the movements. I swear she was doing somersaults this morning when I woke up. 😂 they said you’re not supposed to until about 24 weeks but every person is different. I can already see my belly move when I really paying attention and when she’s kicking really hard.

I think its baby kicks. my daughter went crazy with the kicks at 19 weeks and has been pretty active for the most part since then. maybe drink some juice or something and see if the thumps start up after a bit. juice can make babies more active

In the beginning I couldn’t tell either until the kicks got harder. I think it could possibly be both because I still feel movement when I have gas lol it’s like there’s not enough room in there sometimes. With my first I felt first movement around 17 weeks and my second much earlier
