Has anyone taken Diclegis into the 2nd trimester?

I've had terribly bad nausea and vomiting the whole pregnancy so my doc prescribed Diclegis which has helped take the edge off.    I'm now 15 weeks and still super sick.  I've read the clinical safety studies for Diclegis were only done from weeks 7-14.  So the safety of it after 14 weeks has not been studied and apparently birth defects in general happen after that point in pregnancy.  So I am now afraid to take the medicine and am sick as a dog again.  Has anyone taken Diclegis into the second trimester?  What was your experience?

My doctor prescribed it around 14 weeks or so because I was still getting sick in the morning. I’ll be 20 weeks tomorrow and it’s finally gone away, so I’m not taking Diclegis every day anymore. I would only take it as needed. I’ve never heard of most birth defects occurring in the second trimester...my OB said most occur during the first—that’s why miscarriages tend to happen during that time. My uncle and a friend are both pharmacists and they said Diclegis is one of the safest morning sickness meds you can take. Zofran has been linked to cleft palate, but again, that’s if you take it in the first trimester

Both this and my last pregnancy I took it until about 22 weeks. No complications/birth defects with my first baby and he's smart as a whip. I don't think there's any problem taking it to get some relief.

I'm 27 weeks and still take it once a day.  I took it 4X a day until 19 weeks.  My OB has not told me it's not safe, and she refilled the RX for me at 24 weeks
