First of all, I don’t want any judgement here. I know there are some women out there who could not wait one second before telling their husband about their positive test and I know there are women who take their tests with their husbands. Unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of either of those things. My husband is in the military and is currently out in the field for a three week training (about 12 days left). We have been trying for a while and I have always had this picture in my head of how I wanted to tell him once we did finally conceive. I have a cute onesie, a book, a T-shirt for him and balloons that say “baby”. I really wanted to be able to get his reaction on video. I think that’d be something so precious to have forever. My question for you guys is this- should I wait until he’s home so that I can surprise him and capture the moment or should I do it over FaceTime the next time I’m able to talk to him? I just got my positive test today! Of course I’m dying to tell him, but I also can’t let go of the image in my head of how I wanted it to be!
