Why do men cheat?

How many of us have been cheated on? I know this is the typical question many of us ask, but what do y’all think?

Recently, I found out I was cheated on a few months back in my relationship, mind you this is my very first relationship, so it’s pretty disheartening.

He’s telling me he’s sorry and crying and willing to do anything. But I literally don’t get the logic. If she didn’t mean much for you, and we’re literally in pain everyday now.... what was the point? He ruined a romantic relationship but also a FRIENDSHIP, over 2 hours of fun.

I feel like i our society, cheating isn’t really taboo, it’s something we’ve normalized for men. And it’s almost a rite of passage for them. In his case one of his friends was even encouraging it. I NEVER would’ve thought “the nice guy” would cheat. Wolf in sheeps clothing...

I’m only 21 and incredibly fearful of entering into a relationship with another man at this point.
