Is it wrong/weird for non-religious people to celebrate Christian holidays?
My family is not religious at all yet we always celebrate holidays like Christmas and Easter. Its less of a celebration and more of an excuse to get the family together. But it makes me feel kind of uncomfortable saying that we're celebrating a holiday we don't believe in. I feel like it dilutes the true meaning of these holidays for people who are religious. Like, we wouldnt celebrate Hanukkah because we're not Jewish, so why is it OK to do it for Christian holidays?
