13 weeks scan and gender?

Question

I've seen loads of people and my close friend go for a scan at 13 weeks and be able to determine the sex. I've got a scan Friday which ill be dead on 13 weeks, is it possible to tell the sex? How many of you had it happened to and been correct? 
I'm still going to keep my private gender scan for in 3 weeks, but just wanted to hear other people's stories...

Just had a scan at 13wks exactly. Found out gender. Baby opened legs wide so we can definately tell, also from side view. Tech was 100% sure of gender.

I also have a scan this coming Friday and I'll also be exactly 13 weeks.So we both are due date buddies-Oct 12th 😊👍😍
The scan I'll be having is the genetic scan where they test for down syndrome etc and I'm 99% positive that the blood results can tell you the gender.however i won't find out until birth 😁 it's my 3rd and last child and want it different this time around
