I was told that eating pineapple while pregnant can result in a miscarriage! is this true?!?

I used to eat a crazy amount of pineapple at the beginning of my pregnancy, like a pineapple every day, and i was always cramping. I told my doc and she suggested I lay off the pineapple for a but and it stopped, she said I should be fine but take it easy lol 
I still eat pineapple if I want to but not in crazy amounts

You have to consume an obscene amount of pineapple. More than you’d be able to stomach in one sitting.
