I'm on birth control pills, today is Day 3 of my placebo pill and still no period. I'm having period symptoms cramps and back pain that is wrapping around but no actual blood WTF I feel like I have my period but it's not visibly there. Before everyone starts automatically saying I'm pregnant I've been sick with a UTI for 3 weeks the reason I've been sick for so long is because the first doctor I went to misdiagnosed me. I went to another doctor a week later cause I knew something was wrong I just didn't feel myself turns out I had a UTI the 2nd doc I went to I was put on Nitrofurantoin 100mg for a week. I believe the infection went into my kidneys because I was and still am experiencing a lot of kidney pain in my left kidney, I went to the hospital to have it checked and they said I have inflation in it. My question is can a kidney infection delay a period? Can the medication I'm taking delay my period? I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago it came back negative I also took another pregnancy test on Saturday which would be the day I was supposed to get my period but that also came back negative. Do you guys think I'm pregnant or it's just the medicine along with being sick for so long messing with my cycle? Could a UTI mess with the results of a pregnancy test? When I was at the hospital they said my infection cleared up that was the day I took the pregnancy test, please I need answers 😫
