File before or After I Move?

I'm moving away I have no idea if I should file before I go or after. If I file before i move there might be a possibility were I'll no longer be welcomed at my adopted parents house. As they are completely on his side. If I move away I know there's a possibility were I'll have to wait for a certain amount of time to file for a divorce. All I know I can't stand this man, don't love him, and I must leave this marriage one way or another.

Are you moving states? I’d look into which state has the most beneficial divorce laws for you. Otherwise the main consideration I’d have is: if you’re having to go to court, consider the logistics of filing and then moving away: court dates you’ll have to come back to town, stay somewhere, eat somewhere etc. that can get expensive on top of the huge cost of a divorce.
