UTI? Help?

Question

So I sometimes get a UTI (at least I think it’s one since it has all the symptoms of one) but it generally doesn’t last to long (two to three days at maximum).
I think it can be caused by masturbation cause I do that a lot and I usually get it after.
I’m only 13 and by parents don’t think I know what masturbating is and it would be really awkward to tell them so i don’t really want to.
Should I just let it go away on its own?
What can help to stop me from getting one?

Definitely tell one of your parents about the UTI. They don’t need to know exactly what caused it so you don’t even need to mention the masturbation as it can be caused by a multitude of things and is very common, but you should definitely treat it. As to why they are occurring, I don’t know why masturbation would be the cause. Without knowing how you do so, with what and etc I can’t really tell you. So I’d say just make sure you’re sanitary and careful with yourself and always keep your body in check

Uti is common , don’t worry about your parents finding out . Just let them know drink lots of water. You need antibiotics for it to go away.

I know some girls are more sensitive to stuff like that, and what I've heard to help prevent UTIs is to go pee after, especially if there's any kind of penetration. 
If they are bothering you enough you may want to consider telling your mom. UTIs can be caused by a bunch of different things so there's no reason for her to jump to that immediately.
