Light spotting 2 days before AF due

AF is due in two days and this morning I had an extremely small amount of pink spotting this morning when I wiped, thought it was AF and put on a pad however there was not a mark left on the pad. For the past 4 days I have had severe back pain. Could this be implantation or just AF playing games with me?
