Tuna fish?

So mom just argued with me that I can’t eat tuna. I can have fish just not a lot is what people tell me. I got chipotle and it has too many peppers so I only ate a couple bites.

Omg, you guys. Tuna is NOT high in mercury. It is actually FDA recommended to eat fish LOW in mercury which includes tuna! Because, it is a good source of protein and omega 3 fatty acids. Which is amazing for a pregnant woman. 8-12 oz of LOW mercury fish can be consumed in a week. 
Tuna, tilapia, shrimp, catfish, cod.

I asked her and she  said no more than 6 oz a day it’s low in it but it’s high in omegas and fatty acid that’s good for baby. I only eat a pouch or the bumble bee snacks that have crackers so only 2-3 oz if I’m on the run I eat 3 oz pack. but I don’t eat it more than a couple times a week or just every once in a while not a everyday thing.

You can have the equivalent of one small can of tuna a week by UK recommendations. It is high in mercury which is the reason you are suppose to limit your intake :)
