First RE appointment...what to expect

So I have my first Reproductive Endocrinologist appointment this Friday and I’m wanting to know what to expect.

We have been TTC for over 2 years and have seen other doctors so we’ve had basically all of the work up done...sperm analysis, 17+ blood tests, HSG, you name it lol

Is the first appointment going to be just talking or should I expect to actually have stuff done.

Also, will it matter if I’m on my period?
