Sebastien/Sebastian for a girl?

I just found out I'm pregnant with baby #4 I have 3 boys and a step son, kinda want a girl. I've been in love with the name Sebastien for a girl for years. My ex husband almost divorced me over it because of how much his family hated it hahaha, I wish that had been the reason. I just want opinions and what you think would be a good middle name.

Just as a random note... if you want to make it feminine the French would add a double n and e to it. So “Sébastienne” that’s not a girl’s name I know even there but that’s typically how they feminize words/names (French teacher here)

i say use it. I think its a very strong name and it will grow on some people if they dont like it now. you could call her Sebbie for short? ☺ plus ive known a girl named Spencer before so i dont really see the problem 😂

I think it's a good strong name. I think the e spelling is more feminine, maybe? And or maybe also do kinda frenchy and add an extra ne to the end to make it a littler more feminine (maybe so your hubby is more inclined?)
I think people will find something to make fun of people for no matter what. Reagan used to be a boys name and is now considered unisex and often used for females.  Jordan, Parker, etc.  I think Sebastien could be a good unisex name, strong like the others.    Honestly, I think a lot of people fear unisex names because they think gender is the be all end all and that people's gender has to be public and easily assumed.

I think the French teacher's recommendation of Sebastienne is pretty. Middle names: Rey, Faye, Fawn, Kay, Avery, Leigh, Lenore, Luna( my fav as a double reference to Never Ending Story Sebastian and "Moon Child")😉
