Right now we have two dogs. One is a black lab, who was a rescue. And the other is a curr mix that we found while hunting.

We just had a doggo pass, he was a black lab who lived to be 16, and we’ve decided to add another to our family.

So, recently my husband has been talking about getting a registered duck dog with papers, which means he’d have to get him from a breeder. I have no problem with it, seeing that all dogs need love and a home, and the puppies were looking at have already been born.

But some people in our family don’t feel the same.

We’re getting some snide remarks/looks from his side of the family for not adopting, so my question is would you look down on someone for buying from a breeder?
