Nuvaring, etc?

Question

I want to try another form of birth control besides the pill or the implant (I had nexplanon, I’m not a fan of something being inserted into my body and having to be removed by a doctor.) because the pill made me gain a good bit of weight.
Have any of you ladies tried the nuvaring?

I did the nuvaring for a few years, it was pretty easy to keep up with and not a whole lot of side effects except for some mood swings. :)
I read that women are more prone to blood clots with it so not sure whether it’s the safest form..

So following this as I wanna see what’s recommend, girl I’m in the exact same boat! I’ve had both forms too and not a fan of either (currently have my second implanon in 🤮) I was looking into the patches?
