Sleep!!

Anastasia

My little one is about to be 13 months and she fights sleep.

Basically she won’t sleep on her own. If she falls asleep we can place her in her crib but if she wakes up she immediately cries. (Unless its morning she will rustle around but once she sees us she wants out)

When she was younger we tried waiting it out but its just awful. She hyperventilates and won’t calm down. She would exceed the time that is appropriate.

At one of her previous appointments our doctor said put her in there and do not go back in until the morning.. sorry I will not do that.

I am expecting another child in august and I want to hear some things I may have not tried! She has been a tough sleeper since she came home. Even as a newborn she would sleep less than average amount. She was sleeping on her own in her crib until her first regression and then it was hard to get her back in her crib. We have made it back to her in her crib. Basically, if she is asleep she will sleep in her crib at night. Weirdly, if my husband sleeps in the room with me she wakes up at 3 and cries, if he isn’t she will usually sleep till 6 am.

I would love to get to where she can sleep on her own from being awake.. without just having her exhaust herself emotionally.
