3 y/o giving up naps?

My 3 y/o has refused a nap the past 3 days. we’ve tried everything. Is this normal?

when I stopped wanting to nap, my parents just asked me to pay quietly in my room. I usually fell asleep!

I think it's pretty normal for a 3 year old to not need to nap. That's when my nephew had to stop or he wouldn't sleep at night.

Yes....we have been going through the same thing for the last 4 months, he naps at daycare, but we are lucky to get in 1 nap a month at home on weekends...we still try and do require quiet time on days he is home even him sitting in his bed with books and a reader, but we have friends whose kids stopped napping closer to 2 than 3....just had a new baby, so weekends are going to be rough if we don’t get some time to rest

Normal. My 2.5 year old rarely naps anymore. I still enforce quiet time. She doesn't have to sleep but she has to stay in bed with books or quietly playing with a toy.

Totally normal my son completely stopped napping around 3. Once in a blue moon he'll fall asleep in the afternoon but that's hardly ever.

Normal my just turned 3yr old hasn’t napped since he was about 18months old.😂 only time he naps through the day if he’s walked a long way or been out for the day..
