Question

Lately I’ve been insecure and jealous over stupid things my bf did ( and still not over what had happened) 
Anyways a while back he took a trip to visit friends and I stayed back cause I’m in school. Anyways fast forward to present time (but not really cause this happened maybe 2 weeks ago) 
Me being the emotional mess I am....I guess I started an argument. I’m honestly not too entirely sure.
But he mentioned that he hung out with girls while he was on his trip.
I understand that he has female friends and I wasn’t ever trying to be that girlfriend who’d be restraining or be jealous 
But being in the state I am now it hurt that he didn’t mention it to me while he was there. 
It just got me thinking is that something you want your significant other to inform you about?

Honestly if my boyfriend came home from having drinks with his buddies and he told me there were girls at the bar they talked to, I'd be weirded out that he told me, not if he didn't tell me. Like, of course there's girls everywhere. idk that's just my view.

I don’t think he’s required to inform you every time he hangs out with his friends who are girls. You say that you are not over something? Did he do something to cause your trust to falter? Because hanging out with his friends is an a good enough excuse. Ultimately you have to make the decision if he is someone you can trust or not. What you cannot do is try to control what he does and who he hangs out with. It’s not OK and it’s not healthy. If you decide that you do not trust him, then you need to break up with him. If you decide that you do trust him, then you need to trust him fully and that is a choice you have to make.
