I know this might be a silly question, but has anyone ever experienced weight gain with the Copper IUD? I chose this method because it was hormone free...and because it’s hormone free, it shouldn’t cause weight gain!

In the year I had it, I did put on about 15 pounds without changing diet/exercise habits. It seems like Paragard and weight should have no correlation, but I wanted to ask! Maybe I just need to try harder 😅

I had it removed a couple weeks ago because it repositioned itself lower, causing too much pain. RIP Paragard!
