Is it infected?

I’ve had my belly button piercing for almost 7 months now and just recently I got this red almost like pimple on it. Last night when I was taking a shower I saw there was puss inside of it so I thought it was a pimple and tried to pop it. It wasn’t. The puss came out of the piercing and it started to bleed. Could it be infected? I just changed my piercing from a dangling one to a regular one hoping it would help.

Fill a shot glass with warm-hot water and add a little bit of sea salt, then press the glass on to your stomach and let it sit for about 10 minutes (easiest to lay down). That’s the only thing that helped me when mine was irritated.

if you crush up a noncoated asprin and mix it with a bit of water ,until it's like a paste , and apply it with a qtip or cotton ball , that could help . my piercings almost always got like despite proper care and cleaning and this helped me a lot :)

I remember when I was 7months pregnant my piercing did the same thing, did salt water everything. Had to take it out in the end left abit of a scar! ☹️ just keep cleaning it.
