Can I get her to move?

Question

Baby is sitting very uncomfortablely, to me. She’s constantly rolling and is sitting way up high, under my breasts. Almost feels like she’s elbowing me, a bit painful. 
Should any of the movement feel painful? What can I do to get her to move down? Currently 32 weeks!

I always push my baby down when he’s up in my ribs!

I have to push baby out of my ribs all the time. Usually just some gentle counter-pressure and she’ll move away from where she was

I've never felt comfortable pushing baby down so I generally get on my hands and knees and let her hang for a bit. I've done the cat and cow yoga poses too (I think that's what they're called). Bouncing on my exercise baby also seems to help. It's normal to have some pain now because baby is getting so big and running out of room.

You can push on her gently, but firmly. if you aren't comfortable doing that you can try doing yoga poses and scratches that focus on opening up your hips and pelvis to encourage her to move down.

I read doing jumping jacks then sitting down can help, also using a flashlight or poke or jiggle your belly can help.

Yoga ball labor exercises encourage baby to go lower in the pelvis. Bouncing, hip circles, pelvic rocks back/forth etc. There are tons of videos if you are unfamiliar. It’s how my hospital has women labor to get baby in a better position
