Head strength??

How are your LOs doing with head strength??  Sarah's neck is still pretty floppy at 3 Months.

Ava’s neck strength was pretty floppy still until about 4 months. She could hold her head up, but it was for short amounts of time. We did a lot of tummy time!

My son struggled to hold his head up for many months. With the help of a physical therapist we explicitly worked on stretching, holding his head to midline, and tummy-time as often as possible. My son started showing signs of torticolis, which makes it difficult and sometimes painful to turn their neck, so we focused on building neck strength along with stretching. 
At three years old, I don’t remember when milestones were hit, but I think that’s important to realize too. It’s not about when they are met, as long as our kids progress.
