Membrane sweep experience?

Hope it’s ok to post here. I have a membrane sweep next Thursday. 3cm 75% -2 as of today. My question is did it hurt? Did it work? How long until labor started? Very curious in everyone’s experience

Mine never hurt. Just a little bit of pressure. But neither worked for me for either kids.

I had a membrane sweep on Monday and it wasn’t the most pleasant thing. It’s now Thursday and I’m still knocked up so I’m thinking it hasn’t worked haha!

My first one didn't hurt second one was awful pain instant bleed with plug (show) and still ended up being induce a week later

I got a sweep may 25th 2012 when I was pregnant with my son, cramped up a bit, then my vagina felt very heavy around bed time.
The next morning I had crazy contractions didn’t go to the hospital til around 2 pm and had my son may 26th at 5:46 pm 2012. It works for some. But I usually hear how it’s not effective. Good luck to you.

I was dilated about as much as you and it didn’t hurt.  It also wasn’t effective.

I had one on 16th Jan. It was slightly uncomfortable but not painful. It kick started my contractions and I had my daughter on 19th Jan at 2:33am.

My first sweep didn’t hurt and didn’t work. Went for a second one 2 days later which did hurt and my water broke as he was sweeping. 4 hrs later had my daughter
