My LO is 7wks 1 day & her poo has pretty much always been dark brown & slimy. She is primarily BF and gets supplemented with 2-4oz of formula most days due to low weight gain & my supply maybe being low. Ive pretty much always felt it wasn't normal, but since it's nearly always the same, maybe it was normal for her? But it's been nagging at me pretty bad now. I've read up that it could be an allergy or infection. She has an appointment the 13th where I can mention it then, but I'm not sure if I should wait or not. So pretty much I'm asking if any of you have experienced this? Or do you know what causes it or is it just normal poo? Should I go ahead & take her in or wait til the 13th?

It's pretty dark brown. I had already folded the diaper up & threw it away so it's kinda spread out now. You can still see in some parts where it's slimy. It's always thick with slime. Looks nothing like the mustardy, seedy pics I see as the poster of BF poo, but when I wipe, it's yellow on the wipe, never dark like this. Makes me even more confused. Something is not right, I feel. Thanks in advance for any help!
