So me and my boyfriend have been together for six years and he still hasn’t proposed and it’s starting to bother me a lot because I see so many people around me getting engaged and I’m still waiting. I’m starting to feel like I’m not good enough and I’m getting really tired of waiting. Would you leave someone who is taking too long to commit? What would you do?!

You need to have a serious conversation with him... if you’re wanting marriage and he isn’t ready then if I were you I would move on. I’m sure it’d be really hard but if your not on the same page it’s not the relationship for you and you deserve to be with someone who wants the same things as you

It took my brother 8 years with his girlfriend. Men think differently to women lol. Try and drop some hints. Like as subtle as a house brick hint lol. On a serious note if it’s bothering you so much talk to him find out if there is a reason y he hasnt. He may just not want to “fix something that isn’t broken” so to speak. He might be nervous or he may be burying his head in the sand. Definitely talk to him x

When I was ready to get engaged I sat down my SO and told him babe this is what I really want and I asked him if he felt ready and then I asked him what steps we need to take towards engagement whether it’s getting more financially stable if he wanted to wait until he was done with college etc. just always make sure you’re on the same page and if you’re not on the same page then you need to discuss what to do to get there

If you’re both out of school, it’s probably time to have a talk about where your relationship is going. If you want marriage and he doesn’t, it may be time to end things. Have you discussed marriage? A real sit down discussion? If not then you really need to do that. Just expecting someone to surprise you with an engagement ring after a certain amount of time won't get you anywhere.
