How long to hold your pee?

When you are 9DPO how long should you hold your pee to get an accurate HPT? I think I got a faint line yesterday at 8DPO but I have been peeing every hour at least even over night. Took a HPT this morning and was neg! I know it’s early but do you think it’s because my pee wasn’t concentrated enough? Thoughts?

You can hold it as long as you like, 9 days is at least five days too early so testing is totally pointless

I wouldn’t bother with holding your pee to test the same day. Hcg takes 2-3 days to double up. If it was negative this morning, holding your pee and retesting isn’t going to make it positive. I would just wait til Sunday.

i got my bfp at 8dpo at night, it was very faint, then held my pee all night as much as I could and then I got another that next morning

I’d say no you need to just wait at least until 14-16 DPO for accurate HPT
