My ex had a lot of mommy issues, as she left him and moved state to be with a new man, leaving him.
During sex he would repeatedly call me mommy (which I was never comfortable with) and I was wondering whether this was similar to the daddy kink and if this would be seen as normal? It always made me feel weird and a little creeped out, but what do you guys think?

It is exactly like a Daddy Kink. He may not be letting out his "mommy issues" it just maybe a turn on for him. I mean there is a big difference between just the Daddy kink and then actually being apart of the DDLG/CGL community. The community can actually become a lifestyle choice whereas the kink may just be used in sexual situations. So if he was only doing it during sex I would have to say that it's probably just a kink for him.
