Baby eczema?

Question

What product do you use for your LO? I’m not 100% sure if it is eczema or just dry rough patches. Going to speak with the pediatrician on Monday.

We use aveno baby lotion for eczema. It works really well!

Hydrocortisone 1% cream as recommended by or Ped! Worked amazing on dry spots. We also use aveeno excema for all over moisture.

As per pediatrician: Dove sensitive bar soap in bath. Bath every night in lukewarm water. Lather up and rinse- out in 5-10 mins max.   Hydrocortisone 1% for 2 weeks max and CeraVe moisturizing cream.

My son had a horrible eczema flare up all over his body... 3 weeks later and i am still trying to calm it down. 
This is what helped us: 
Bath every night - coconut oil in bath water - dove baby soap (sensitive skin) - bath for 10 min max in warm not hot water - don’t dry skin and start to add moisturizer - i first apply emu oil to entire body and let it dry. Then i apply a lotion by kayala from the health food store which contains emu oil + almond oil + sunflower oil + coconut oil etc and let that soak in. 
I apply oil + lotion in the morning + mid day. 
I am waiting for an appointment with a dermatologist because my sons is really bad. Poor kiddos!! Good luck!

We started using Mustela eczema for baths and cetaphil lotion sensitive skin (normal, not baby). Our specialist said don’t by ‘baby’ lotions, because even though they say scent free or for sensitive skin, they add a scent to make it smell like baby. Also, Johnson and Johnson is literally the worst product to use on baby with sensitive skin! Our switch cleared up baby within the week. She still has a few patches on her hand and cheek where she drools a lot.

So even though I know better, when we were discharged from the NICU, the nurse basically told us if we ever used lotion on them they would stop producing oils to self moisturize. Fast forward 4 months later & they both had red, flaky patches on their lower legs. I asked the nurses I work with what you do for eczema if you can’t use lotion? And they were all like whaaaaaaaat...you better put some lotion on those babies😧😧😧???!!! Lol so we use Dove baby lotion after every bath and put lotion on their feet & legs daily. We use Dove everything to bathe them...& ourselves, frankly lol. I hope it’s an easy fix, Momma!

Calendula cream from the brand California Baby cleared up my sons eczema/dry skin in 2 days. I continue to apply it multiple times throughout the day, everyday. It’s all organic and I got mine from target. Pedi recommended aveeno eczema & hydrocortisone 1% for my son but both made it worse.
