How to gradually wean from nursing and dry up the milk?

I stopped night time nursing but my boobs became rock hard. How to slowly wean from nursing ?

For the hard rock boobs try cabbage leaves. they really helped me! put the cabbage in the fridge and then put the leaves in your bra while the are cold.. change them when every 2-3 hours!

I cut one feeding once a week. After I cut the last feeding I used cold cabbage leaves  or cold washcloths and that helped with the pain. Every other night (depending on pain) I would hand express in the shower, but only enough to get the hard feeling to go away. I think it took about two weeks until I felt “normal.” Good luck!

I just stopped nursing yesterday and my boobs are starting to get sore today. I've been using cold cabbage leaves and ice packs so far. ibuprofen helps with inflammation.
