Hi ladies,

So I just found out this week I am pregnant! And my birthday is next weekend and I have a very pushy friend who wanted to take me out for dinner and margaritas tonight as I am going back to my hometown for a family event. She is also friendly with my sisters who I am going to see tonight and don’t want to know yet. I feel bad because this was scheduled before I knew I was pregnant, and I’ve already gotten out of the dinner part, but she’s following up with “let me know if you guys go out for a drink after”. And I don’t know how else to avoid this without her getting suspicious! I’m also worried she’s going to try to convince my sisters to get me to come out (which isn’t beyond her) and if it goes that far I’m going to be in a tough spot because I don’t want to tell them I’m pregnant yet. I’m definitely not going to drink but could really use help coming up with an excuse where I don’t have to tell them why!!
