What age is appropriate

Around what age do you think it’s quite appropriate to start having kids?

Whenever you can financially support yourself and a child and being mentally and emotionally stable is a need as well

That really depends. You should deffinitely be:
An adult 
Financially stable
No history of being predator, rapist, etc. 
Able to love and raise a child
Able to take the child to school or do online schooling
Having a partner isn’t necessary but it does help a tremendous amount
Those are my suggestions.

I don’t think anyone is ever truly ‘ready’ but I’d say once you’ve learnt who you are as a person. It’s easy to lose your own identity and just become ‘a mum’ once You have a baby.   I have such amazing memories and times to look back on prior to becoming a mum and I think because I lived my life to its fullest when I didn’t haven’t responsibilities, I don’t feel trapped or like I’m missing out on anything now I’m a mummy. I don’t miss going out and partying, now I’d choose to stay home with a dvd with my little family over all that any day! As opposed to some friends that had their family at 18 and never had a life or experiences prior to their children, they crave freedom and feel isolated and trapped. All that in mind it happens when it’s meant to. Regardless of what we want.

I think a few things should happen:
- Graduate from high school 
- Have a financially stable job (because babies aren’t cheap)
- Be emotionally and physically ready 
- Have a good support system
- And if you have a SO, then make sure your relationship is strong!

All of the above, plus when you think you can handle life without a lot of alone time! My husband and I were ready to have kids but I don't think we really realized how much alone time we'd be missing. Definitely going to have to have "quiet time" for everybody daily when the kidlet is older.

there no right answer to this. I have friends that were amazing parents very young and I know ppl who had kids in their 30 who are shit parents.
