Oblong gestational sac

Mandy

Hey guys, I decided I would make a post to see if anybody else has had a similar situation as mine....A little history about me, I got my IUD removed back in October of last year and my doctor said it was ok to start trying to get pregnant right away. I wound up getting pregnant in November, but then had an early chemical pregnancy...The doctor said my progesterone levels were extremely low...we waited a couple months and got pregnant again in January. That time we were able to get to almost five weeks, but then suffered another early miscarriage for the same low progesterone problem...Both times we had very faint BFPs....We waited a few months, and now last week, I found out I am pregnant. We had super dark lines, and a positive digital test....The doctor said because I am not having any spotting or cramping that they don't want to see me until I am eight weeks.Today I am four weeks and for days...So last night I went to the ER for back pain and pain in my right shoulder. It wasn't a cramping pain, but my back was killing me, and I'm overly paranoid about having another miscarriage again. I have had back surgery for scoliosis so this may be part of why. The ER said my HCG levels are 939, which is way higher than I've ever had, but the ER doc said that's kind of low. They also did an ultrasound and discovered that my gestational sac is oblong, which is abnormally shaped I guess. My bladder was extremely full at the time, and the only reason I didn't empty it is because they said they would be able to see better with a full bladder. I was reading online that sometimes having a full bladder can effect the shape of the sac. The doctor told me that I was most likely going to have a non viable pregnancy and misscarriage due to the shape of my gestational sac. I can't get to the doctor until Monday to have my progesterone levels checked, so I'm a nervous reck. I don't want to lose this little baby. Anbody else have a similar situation before and everything turned out ok? I still have no spotting or cramping
