I spoke to my now fiance about how important marriage was on our first date. This way he knew exactly what I expected and I knew if he wanted the same. If not I would have moved on!! so  happy we wanted the same thing. He proposed less than a year of us being together.

My boyfriend didnt see himself getting married then all of a sudden one day he brought it up by saying my name with his last name and was like that sounds pretty good. We’ve been together since July 5, 2015 but he’s been bring it up more often l. Recently he randomly asked me if it was a diamond ring I wanted which took me by surprise. So hopefully he’ll pop the question sometime 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t wanna be just a girlfriend the rest of my life I wanna be a wife. Planning my wedding has always been a dream of mine. 😍

We discussed marriage and kids and money and our future goals and all of that before we even became a couple. We’re not the dating kind of people lol we’re long term relationship kind of people. So we weren’t going to waste our time if we didn’t want the same things. We were engaged after 1 week of long distance dating and married 2.5 months later. We wasted no time lol
