19w5d, anyone else having thoughts gender may be wrong lol?

I’m 19w5d at 17w6d we went to an ultrasound studio and were told we are having a little girl, a friend of mine told me that with her son she was told he was a girl all the way through and then when he was born, surprise surprise lol now I’ve been really anxious about it. What do you ya’ll think?!

I doubt anyone here can read an ultrasound better than a tech who does it every day for a living. If you’re really anxious about it you can consider getting a private scan as a second opinion or ask you’re still able to do the chromosome blood test. Keep in mind these might not be covered and you should ask about and consider the costs before doing them.

So what I did, I had an ultrasound at 17 weeks then did an ultrasound at 20w4d to see what the gender was. I gave the 20w4d gender to my friend whose doing the gender reveal. I’m excited to see if I’m still having what the 17 week ultrasound said!

Definitely have them take a better look during your anatomy scan. That should be soon. I just had mine today at 19w4d. From the picture I would have said boy, but an US tech is better at reading US than I am. Especially if she does it every day. But from this picture it’s hard to say.

We’ve known since 14 weeks our’s is a boy. I’m high risk and his penis has been prominent in every scan. Unless your baby has a really small penis, I’d say it’s a girl. Here’s our scan from 14 weeks. 😂
