Period pains during pregnancy??

I am nearly 4 weeks pregnant so it’s classed as nearly 6 but I am having dull aches in my low abdomen throughout the day that feel like period pains. Is this normal?

I had mild cramps during the early weeks of my pregnancy. As long as you're not bleeding/spotting, I'd say it's normal.

A lot of times it’s normal.. Its a sign that the embryo is attaching to your uterus getting ready to grow!

Before I found out I as pregnant I was having HORRIBLE cramps. I thought I was definitely going to have my period. We had sex the night before my missed period and I was in so much pain I had to take Tylenol... well my period still did not come and well I found out I was pregnant. Around 5 weeks at this time. I had very light spotting and cramping. I ended up not having sex or doing anything stressful until my 8 week apt. Found out I have a small hemorrhage on a small part of my placenta. It fixed itself and I’m 23w4d and he is kicking and moving like crazy!!! I have not had any spotting since the week before my first apt. I hope this helps. I wouldn’t worry tho! Unless you have bright red blood and it’s more than spotting. The first few weeks normally is the baby implanting and making its little home.

I had cramps throughout my first trimester. They felt very similar to period cramps. Usually it’s nothing to worry about as long as you don’t have any bleeding and lower back pain with the cramps.
