Second trimester?????

I am 12w1d everyone is telling me I’m in my first trimester but this app says I’m in my second??

A lot of debate around this, just like does third start at 27 or 28 weeks... 12 week scan is a bit of a ‘safe’ point for development progression so people always talk about 12 weeks, but I believe second starts at 13 weeks. If you think about it- 40/3 is a little more then 13 :) xx

I ask the same when I got a notification saying I have reach my second trimester ...but according to some people in the group .they say the second trimester begins week 14
