Is Shady Grove being shady??

Question

Long story short, my husband suffers with male factor infertility so we underwent our first

treatment with ICSI this past summer. Sadly that ended in a miscarriage and the fertility meds made my fibroids grow out of control (even though they said the meds would have no effect on them). 8 months later my husband decides to get another semen analysis to see if the 4 months of conception XR has helped in anyway. They promised to give us a call in 3 days to report the results but we did not hear back from anyone at Shady Grove. After reaching out to them, they emailed us a copy of the latest semen analysis which had pertinent information missing. The motility, morphology, and count says N/A and in the notes it says 5 motile sperm is being prepped for ICSI. Am I missing something here? After emailing our nurse about the results, she didn’t answer our questions about the missing information and resorted to saying that the sperm is sufficient enough for ICSI. The whole purpose of the semen analysis is to see if his situation has improved, remained the same, or decreased. Why are we not getting clear information but rather pushed to consider treatment again? Please let me know your thoughts.

Our experience with SG nurses has been shitty. Poor communication, BS info... I also definitely feel like SG's first priority is the bottom line.  Very frustrating.

That’s shady...my husband sperm analysis report always complete with volume, count, motility and morphology. 
I think you should demand the complete report. You paid for that!

Sounds dodgy. I'd be worried if they are really using your husband's sperm or not. 
It's crazy bc when I was going through infertility hell, Shady Grove websites helped me understand a lot about my condition outside of my own IVF doctor. 
I would switch to a smaller practice with a good reputation with a doctor that communicates much better.

Shady Grove is a creepy ass name for a business dealing in sperm...I don't know anything about IVF procedure but yeah shady Grove sounds super shady and lazy

That does seem shady. Why hide important numbers from you unless they don’t want you to see that what your doing is working. My husbands doctor told him to stop taking his fertility vitamins because he said they were “useless”, but his count had went up significantly. The doctor pushed for further testing and IVF. We stopped going to him and we were able to get pregnant on our own.

I’ve had a few experiences with them where calls weren’t returned and test results weren’t relayed. I switched doctors for my second IVF cycle but I plan to use a different center for future cycles.

Shady grove is shady and terrible with male factor infertility and their goal is just bottom line. They dominate the industry in all the major cities so we’re all kind of screwed. You have to advocate and fight like hell and fight back against the nurses

Can you consult with the dr? Not to be judgmental, but I swear those nurses know literally nothing. All they ever need to do is reread lab results, and in this case, if they can’t, I’d ask to speak to the dr. Did you pay for a full analysis? I’d check into that too.
