If you bring a service dog into an establishment, should they be allowed to ask for your paperwork?

You can buy a service dog vest online for like $50. My crazy mil has one for her dog. She claims she’s a service dog but she’s not trained at all to be one. Nor is my mil in need of a service dog. She brings her to restaurants, grocery stores, basically everywhere. And it honestly makes me so mad 😂

I feel like places should be able to ask to see your paperwork for your dog in order to lessen those who abuse the use of “service dogs”

People who actually need service dogs have the right to have them wherever they need them. I don’t think its fair for people to fake a service dog just so they can bring their dog wherever they want.
