Does military pay increase when you have a baby

I’m a first time mom and my husband works in the airforce will is pay go up after the baby is born

His actual pay won’t increase. My husband and I are both active duty and when we got married only one of us could claim the other. When our baby is born at the end of this year, we don’t get any type of increase for our baby. The only (for active duty female) increase would be a maternity pay that is only allotted every 2-3 years, and not per child. But because you are not in the military, you will not receive that either.
The good news is, you or your husband (cause you can only claim once) gets to claim both their spouse and the child and gets a better tax deduction and return. (If I were you, I’d have him claim you both as dependents because active duty gets a slightly higher tax break than civilians)

No it only goes up if he ranks up or he has a dependent. Which he already has because you are his dependent.

he may not grt paid more, but on the plus side there is benefits. okay I know everyone knows about healthcare n shit. but im talking about the ones people dont seem to utilize as much. 
Depends on his pay and rank (I'm USMC, for us it is E4 or E5 and below only) you can get WIC in the military still! i just learned that. 
also classes and stuff they may give out free stuff besides all the knowledge. also may tell you your other benefits like wic and child care and whatever else I'm sure theres more. they have "baby bootcamp" to hrlp you and your partner adjust (I hear the have fake bellies for the man to wear lol). but they will point you in the right direction for other help and also teach you a lot. you can ask whatever questions. and there are classes just for militray spouses, to help you with being a military spouse!  where you can meet others and have a support group

No he won’t get paid more. But you’ll be better off in taxes with your return. Your BAH will stay the same as well since you’re already a dependent, one dependent or 5 it’s all paid out the same besides on tax breaks and returns.

Whenever you have dependents you will get paid the with dependent BAH. Since as a spouse you’re considered a dependent he won’t get paid more.
That’s why I’m making my hubby wait for baby number 2 until one of us makes rank lol
