Cat litter box

So I’m 7 weeks pregnant and I was wondering if it’s okay for me to clean my cats litter box if I wear cloves and a mask and after wash my hands really good and take a shower after ? I’m a single mother and nobody could help so just wondering if I could clean it myself but be very careful ?
