What do I expect at the doctors?

Tomorrow I'm going to the doctors to get birth control and I don't know anything about it. What do I expect when I go to my appointment? like the stuff they do to see if implant or the pill and etc is good for me.

They don’t actually DO anything. They’ll just talk to you and ask questions and probably give you a brochure or something. They aren’t going to decide what’s best for you, you have to do the research on all the contraceptives and decide for yourself.

They probably won’t “do” anything they’ll just talk to you about the different types and find which one is right for you.
