So Thursday morning I was relaxing on the couch, earlier that week I started having light brown spotting, but nothing really to worry about, I read it was normal. Well I got up to use the bathroom and it was turning darker, and had a red tint. I freaked. I called my husband to bring me to the hospital. At this point I had no pain. Just the bleeding was getting redder and darker, and heavier. Got to the hospital and ran to the bathroom and looked and thought, well here it is 😭 everything I’ve feared. Got back to my room and explained that I thought I was 8 weeks to the day, and everything that’s happened, and the doctor did a pelvic exam. There was blood, but she said my Cervix was closed and said I’d be going down to ultrasound. I went to get the US, literally shaking. Of course the tech can’t say anything and that was making it worse. Well when she was doing the vaginal ultrasound and there was so much pressure! She explained how she thought I had a lot of poop built up in my bowels and that’s what this pressure was from. I get back to my room and the lain is crazy! I’m shaking and calling the nurse explaining I need to use the bathroom. I have been insanely constipated since finding out I was pregnant it’s been ridiculous. Well I used the bathroom and there was a lot that came out, sorry TMI. And then a clot that looked my uterus lining. After that, the pain stopped! It was just like all I needed to do was a bowel movement. Light pink, but bigger than I’ve ever seen. And thought well this is it, it’s officially happening. Got back to my room and the dr comes in and said I’m measuring at 6 weeks not 8 which makes sense because I ovulate later and the same happened with my first, but they did find a heart beat, it was a little slow she said, but didn’t seem worried. Never told me a BPM. She said they didn’t even expect to see a heartbeat that soon so it was reassuring. They said all the blood and urine tests still say I’m pregnant, but once again didn’t give me the levels. I’m also O- blood so I had to get that shot in my behind. Of course they had to call it a “threatened miscarriage”, and said bed rest until my first OB appointment Tuesday. I was sore coming home from everything they did but overall the pain was gone.

I explained to the Dr about the clot and she wasn’t worried and said sometimes it happens. So the bleeding did let up, and now it’s just back to some brown spotting when I use the bathroom. I have been an absolute nervous wreck! It was so nice hearing there was a heartbeat, but honestly I am terrified for my appointment Tuesday. They had no answer for this bleeding and she also said I have a uti😩I’ve researched literally everything and have just been praying everything turns out okay, and I get my healthy peanut. 🤞🏼
