Birth control without side effects??

Question

Anyone have any birth control recommendations and experiences with some that don’t have any crazy side effects? The only reason I haven’t ever been on one is because of bad things I’ve heard from girls around me
EDIT: weight gain is what I’m trying to avoid the most so if you are on a BC that hasn’t given you that problem, let me know!

I have an IUD and love it. You’ll hear good and bad things about all birth control. Your body will react differently.

I have nexplanon (the arm implant) and aside from mistakes on my part, it’s been a dream. I stupidly ignored the recommendation to not lift heavy stuff and moved a cord of wood across my property the same day as getting my implant. So it was sore for a couple days, and bruised real bad. But ever since, no issues. Still get periods, same heaviness and number of days it used to be, but not pregnant so that’s a plus. 
Personally, I feel like nexplanon is one of the smartest birth control forms but thatsmy opinion. It supposedly has the highest success rate not including abstinence. There’s much lower risk of complications for insertion or removal as opposed to IUD’s. I also read that DEPO shots cause weight gain in 25% of users so that’s worth noting.

Every bc will have side effects because every single persons bodies will react differently you just try and see what works best for you
