I go when I need to and at the moment being pregnant means I need to see my doctor more than usual just to get referrals and talk about over all health at the moment. I live in Australia where you have the health care through government or healthcare through private. We have both. My doctor doesn’t bulk bill but I still get money back from Medicare/Medicade. Can’t remember what it’s called; baby brain lol 😂 .

I hardly ever go simply because I have making phone calls to book an appointment and usually get left listening to the same old music for 20mins +. Then they give you an appointment for about 3 weeks time. Only reason I have been is to get on/switch birth control and to speak about my anxiety.

Even though we have free healthcare in the UK I just choose not to go because I'm scared and don't want to waste anyone's time. If I have something wrong with me I'd rather just wait until it gets better or gets worse. If it gets worse then I'd probably go to the doctor but I haven't been since my mum didn't have to come with me anymore, which was 4 years ago.
