How do I go about helping my husband find his adopted daughter?

9 years ago, before my husband and I got together, he was with a girl, in Michigan, and they were forced to separate and supposedly she was pregnant, had their baby girl, and gave her up for adoption, she is just now telling him, he's curious about his daughter, and she is refusing to give him any information, I just want to help him find her, or find out if she is lying. Anybody have any tips?

ancestry.com. if anyone else has but themselves on the registry and they're a match it tells you. she may look for him one day too  also he should start in the state she had the baby. find a way to see if you can find out if this lady had a baby and he is the father and was never told about the daughter

Couldn’t you search the ex and see if she has any birth records associated with her?  I’m not positive but it would hopefully prove if she’s lying.  Unfortunately adoption records are sealed and it will be pretty much impossible for him to find his daughter
